Growing up in Chicago a city rich in architectural history, helped develop
my passion for all things Architecture and Design. My professional studies
began in Landscape Architecture, later receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design. I began my career designing model homes, retirement communities and residences in the Chicago North Shore Area, New York, New Jersey and Florida. My need to be creative has also led to projects in Visual Merchandising and Floral Design. I particularly enjoy space planning and reconstructing floor plans. As a former Folklore Ballet Dancer, I am inspired by the bold colors and textures of the Folklore world. I have 21 years of design experience with the past 12 in the San Antonio area, helping clients achieve their dream homes from the architectural design stage to a completely furnished home. I work hand in hand with Architects, custom home builders and remodelers to achieve the client's vision.
All of my projects are an interpretation of each clients tastes and lifestyle and not
my own. My goal is never to produce an aesthetic that is a recognizable extension of myself, but rather to create a design concept that is unique to each client. Your home should be a reflection of your personality. It should be a space that comforts you and tells the story about your life experiences. To me, good design incorporates things that make you happy and inspire you. I enjoy helping people create a tailored polished version of whatever that means to them. There is beauty in every style. Its just a matter of applying basic design principles and sometimes even breaking those rules to make that happen. It is about curating something unexpected that brings you joy I am passionate about creating spaces that are vibrant and playful but at the end of the day, bring you a sense of peace.
I was born in Eagle Pass, Texas, and was raised in Piedras Negras, Mexico. Having the opportunity to experience two different cultures has allowed me to understand and respect different perspectives within the world we live in. I have always enjoyed developing my creative skills and using it as a way to engage and socialize with others. This encouraged me to take my creativity into the professional world as an interior designer. My professional studies began when I moved to San Antonio in 2018. I am a recent graduate from the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. I completed my internship at Yadesign Interiors during my junior year in 2020, and I have work here since then. I enjoy being part of this team and having the opportunity to help clients build their dream home.
